I love this place. Came for the gyros, ended up getting free posters and looking at shirts. I like gyros a lot, and this place met expectations. I have been back a couple of times since. I got the combo bowl of beef and chicken.
Came here because I wanted to try out the food. Very delicious and at a good price. The sandwich has soo much meat and the French fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. The cooks and owner were super nice too. Honestly recommend. You get very good food quality at a low price! (My whole meal with drink was 11)
It’s a hole in the wall type of place. One side of it is like a convenient store and the other is a small restaurant. We got the chicken shawarma and gyro plate. The food was great and had good portions. Unlike other Mediterranean places, the price wasn’t ridiculously priced. Overall great place and would come again.

So nice to see places without the “Heights” vibe taking over completely. AL Quick Stop has been around for a good amount of time and there’s a reason for it, it’s great. The lamb gyro has flavor, juices, and a soft pita that all complements each other.

Als is one of the first places my brother took me before I moved to Houston, and I now go often for lunch. I usually get the falafel sandwich and my partner gets the veggie sandwich. The food is always delicious, fresh and fast. The restaurant is very chill and clean and the owner is extremely kind and attentive; every time I go he is there working behind the front counter and in the kitchen. This spot is a great hole in the wall, with perfect food every time.
